When we say drugs, we mean illegal drugs or the illicit use of drugs. They can be highly addictive substances that are illegal to sell, make, and use. Some of these drugs are not usually used for medical purposes and are illegal to use. In other words, patients cannot get prescribed illicit drugs by a doctor. You will most likely get arrested for using illegal drugs like:
Marijuana or Cannabis (in some places)
Heroin & Fentanyl (Opioids)
Ecstasy, Methamphetamine (Meth) and other synthetic drugs
Cocaine in all forms
Hallucinogens like mushrooms or LSD
These drugs are highly addictive and have severe side effects that can lead to long-term health consequences. You can also die of an overdose. We also mean legal drugs that are being used illegally, like prescription drugs used to get high, not for their legitimate medical purpose.
Demand reduction is changing behavior or preventing bad behavior, like using illegal substances. This starts with knowledge. The more you know, the better chance you can prevent a drug habit or a drug tragedy. Knowledge is power.
We will not only teach you about drugs and paraphernalia, but we will teach you some commonsense strategies and techniques to use when you try to prevent your child/loved one from being involved in drug use, a habit or a drug tragedy.
We will go over a case study of a single parent raising 2 kids and what was done and not done to educate the parents and prevent the kids from getting involved in illegal drugs.

He attended the DEA Basic Drug Law Enforcement course, where he was the top graduate. He attended the DEA Advanced Drug Law Enforcement course and later taught drug education classes and conducted in-service training for law enforcement, attorneys and citizen groups. He has done numerous guest speaking engagements, including being a guest lecturer at a MENSA convention, all levels of K-12 schools and at the college/university level. And, he went to law school and later represented defendants in criminal court. He is passionate about having a drug-free community.
In a 1-hour informal session, you will learn via a PowerPoint presentation with some realistic (harmless and inert) pass around props. You will have the ability to ask a retired drug agent how it all really works and why we made drugs illegal as a community. #facts not opinion. We need student seating and a location for PowerPoint projection on a screen.
